Always wanted to paint a waterfall scene, so I've started to sketch ideas based on references I gathered, maybe I will process one of these through digital software, if I ever get round to buying Sai, or just paint it larger traditionally with gouache and watercolour.. for now I will carry on sketching.

This is how I sketch ideas, rough and raggidy without much care to be honest.  I want to work on something based on primitive culture.  I tilted the camera a little bit as to not get my hand in the way, so that's why it might look a bit strange.

I haven't really posted anything in almost a year, I suppose I hit a bit of a slump, and while I have been sketching, I haven't really done anything finished.  I enjoy doing these exercises to get me warmed up, I like to watch dancing videos from time to time, and these were done from a ballet video on youtube, I basically play and pause, with the help of an online stopwatch, I set it from maybe 30 seconds to 2 minutes, on the interval timer, set it on repeat and turn on the alarm, and just play and then pause for a new pose, every time the alarm goes off, its great fun.  I can't afford life drawing classes these days.
