Colour blocking, trying to get some ideas down for a possible painting.

Thought I'de share another one, planet earth this time, not that great, missed out on a lot of values, I get pretty impatient, trying to work on a quicker way of working.

Unfinished study from HenryVIII and his Six Wives, I was watching it on iplayer, but it cut out, so that was the end of that, I need to do this more frequently though, and got to look into buying this film, because all the set pieces, costumes, cinematography is great study.

I said I wasn't into finished sketches at the moment, I decided to clean things up a bit, though not all that clean in places, it was a welcome break from thinking about colour.

Working stuff out for a piece,  I want to do more architectural work, and I guess that isn't so much go with the flow for me, requires a bit of working out.  Going for some sort of town scene, I'm not very much into finished sketches at the moment, like to keep things loose and gestural, to leave something for the final painting, where a lot can sometimes change I think.

To finish the day off, well it's gone past midnight, I wanted to try and block out another waterfall scene.

So I think I've gone as far as I want to go with this, but who know's maybe I will come back to it later.
