Another sketch in Gimp.

Doodling some medieval sort of inspired buildings, haven't done these in a while, but thought I'd give it a go, there pretty fun to do.

I did this around April last year, I was in the middle of a placement, and did this on the side, so never really got round to finishing off properly, but I got the colours down how I wanted I think, it was a bit of a hectic time, and I was asked to do this for a play, as part of there background, I believe the design was handed over to a company, who probably finished it off, I don't know.

Rainforest man, watercolour and gouache sketch done a little while back.

Grasslands sketch, I may polish this one up one day, for now I want to keep exercising in colour, light and composition.

Three loose digital paintings for the day, nice to get a bit of practice in, got to practice more, I don't do it enough.  I did these in Gimp 2.8, great free software, check it out here www.gimp.org.

Always wanted to paint a waterfall scene, so I've started to sketch ideas based on references I gathered, maybe I will process one of these through digital software, if I ever get round to buying Sai, or just paint it larger traditionally with gouache and watercolour.. for now I will carry on sketching.
